The federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act has a number of provisions to assist businesses and nonprofits impacted by COVID-19.

Several of these programs are still being developed by federal agencies and will become available in the coming days.

During April 27th's COVID-19 briefing, Governor Mike Parson announced the first phase of the “Show Me Strong Recovery” Plan outlining how Missouri will gradually begin to reopen economic and social activity on Monday, May 4, 2020. Check the Show Me Strong Recovery Plan website for ongoing updates and information.

The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) is a part of the CARES Act and is designed to help you retain your employees, at their current base pay.

The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA or Act) requires certain employers to provide their employees with paid sick leave and expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19. These provisions will apply from April 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.
